カフェで2人の男が向き合って座っている。
一人は刑事
一人は犯罪者
Two men are sitting facing each other in a cafe.

「ここのおすすめは…」
パンケーキの文字に目がいく。
2人は注文した。
“The restaurant's recommended menu item is...”
The word "pancakes" on the menu caught their attention.

二人同時に口に運ぶ。
そのうち一人、思わずウェイターを呼び止めた。

One of them stopped the waiter without a second thought.
「このパンケーキ、とても気に入ったよ」

ウェイターはとても嬉しそうだ。
「ありがとうございます。
こちら『審判のパンケーキ』です」

それ以降、二人は何も話さなかった。
ただ黙々と
ナイフとフォークの音だけが響いたまま。
